powerful 64-bit Intel® i80303 processor, the RAIDking

a 2U high, 8-bay rack mount platform, the RAIDking 475 series
offers high throughput and superb reliability due to its new
Dual PCI onboard chip set. Built with the same technology as the
RAIDking 600/800 series, the RAIDking 475 series provides
enterprise class features in a low-profile, cost effective enclosure,
that's sure not to take up unnecessary space in your rack.

RAIDking storage solutions, the RAIDking 475 series
is designed to simplify complicated and time consuming operations.
Compared to
the conventional disk array, which is designed for experienced IT
professionals, the RAIDking 475 series features innovative
Plug-N-Play RAID. Just attach your RAID storage solution to your
host server, and it'll be up and running. All you have to do is
follow the step-by-step, built-in setup program; it's truly that
easy!
The high availability
hardware and firmware architecture automatically detects bad sectors
and failed disk drives. When installing a replacement disk or using
a hot spare disk, the system automatically rebuilds data without
you having to do anything.
An LCD panel
displays a comprehensive operating status. Should a hard disk fail,
the built in buzzer will sound and the LCD panel will indicate the
failure status. With the system on, you can remove and install hot
swap components (hard disks, cooling fans and power supplies) without
interrupting data access.
The
RAIDking 475 series is completely operating system independent
and transparent to Windows based operating systems, as well as Linux,
Novell, UNIX, and Mac based servers.
